V V C F Church News January 14.
- Bible Course is on break: Our regular Bible course, "The Life of Christ According to Mark," has completed Chapters 1-5 of Mark; we are on winter break until March 13, 2012. [However: several students wanted to continue their studies and have arranged a special course with pastor to begin the "Four Gospel Chronological Review." These meetings are being held at the VVCF Parsonage resuming January 10 and continuing through March 6, 2012 while the other group is on winter break.] Call the church office for details.
- Tuesday - “House of Prayer” 10-11AM : Special time of spiritual renewal for those seeking to fellowship in prayer. [No meeting on Dec. 27]
- Sunday - January 22 at 4:00 pm: The Garza Family is relocating to southern California - this will be their last weekend in Tacoma. We will have regularly scheduled services in the morning and give Tammi time to get home from work and get ready for the “Farewell Social” at 4:00pm. Friends and those wishing them well are welcome to the pizza reception in the Fellowship Hall at VVCF. Connect with Brigitte Fritz for details if you wish to bring beverages, salads or deserts.
- The VVCF Annual Meeting for all VVCF members (those with voting rights) and regular attenders (those having the right to be present at the annual meeting) are served notice that the Annual Meeting has a schedule change for Sunday afternoon, February 12. We are now meeting right after the Combined Service meeting - anticipated starting time is 12:30 pm in the church Fellowship Hall.
